Meet Sarah
Sarah Marcimo loves children! She has years of experience caring for and educating children in a variety of settings. Sarah is passionate about providing high-quality education and believes all children are capable. In prior experiences, she has worked with a multitude of students of various backgrounds and unique learning styles and provided differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each individual learner. Sarah enjoys working hands-on with students and families but is also knowledgeable about educational administration.
Although her experience covers a variety of ages, and she has enjoyed working with all age groups, her niche is Preschool & Pre-K. She finds that endless learning opportunities come from the simplest moments during this age of development. Sarah enjoys planning engaging hands-on learning experiences based on her students' interests and providing individual modifications as needed.
In addition, Sarah completed vigorous coursework toward her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and then continued her education and received her Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education and became a licensed teacher for children ranging from Pre-K-2nd Grade With and Without Special Needs. She has also completed additional course work in Administration and Supervision of Programs in Early Childhood Education and is Director I and Director II certified. She has met all state requirements and training such as Medication Administration, Food Allergies: Recognizing Allergic Reactions, Emergency Preparedness, as well as CPR & First Aid.
The field of education is more than just a job for Sarah, it is her passion, and she is highly dedicated and driven to provide high-quality education and care. Little Mountaineers Learning Center encompasses her years of expertise and vision that all children can reach new heights!
